Flow Creative Works Guidelines
(Last updated: March 2026)

We love seeing the community create things inspired by Flow – The Tidal Whispers.

Fan creativity is part of what keeps a world alive.

You are welcome to create works inspired by the game, including fan art, music remixes, videos, comics, small games, animations,

cosplay, merchandise, and other creative projects, without asking for permission, as long as you follow the guidelines below.

Use common sense and enjoy creating.

1. Clearly mark your work as a fan creation

Your work must clearly state that it is a fan work based on Flow – The Tidal Whispers.

Your creation must not appear to be an official product or be presented in a way that could confuse people into thinking it is official.

2. Create your own assets

Please create your own artwork, music, models, and other assets.

Do not extract or reuse assets directly from the game files (sprites, music, backgrounds, etc.).

Small excerpts for commentary, critique, or video content are generally acceptable.

Music remixes and derivative works based on the game’s soundtrack are allowed, including small-scale commercial use.
If you create music based on the soundtrack, please clearly credit the original composer of the track.
For the correct composer credits, please refer to the official credits listed in each game.

3. Small-scale commercial use is allowed

You may sell fan creations such as:

  • illustrations

  • comics or manga

  • music remixes or albums

  • figurines or crafts

  • stickers or merchandise

  • fan-made games or projects

This is allowed as long as the activity remains small-scale and independent, such as personal online shops, convention sales, or limited handmade production.

If a project grows into large-scale commercial activity (for example company-level production, mass manufacturing, or large retail distribution), please contact us beforehand.

4. Respect the spirit of the universe

We encourage creators to explore the characters and world of Flow.

However:

  • Avoid creating lore that contradicts or replaces the official story.

  • Official game content should remain the primary reference for the universe.

Fan works should expand on the spirit of the world rather than redefine it.

5. Do not create harmful or unlawful content

Fan works must not include content that is:

  • illegal

  • hateful or discriminatory

  • excessively sexualized or exploitative

  • intended to damage the reputation of the game or its creators

If a work clearly violates these principles, we may ask for it to be modified or removed.

6. Responsibility

Creators are fully responsible for their own fan works.

Lavenders Entertainment Inc. is not responsible for any issues caused by third-party creations.
Flow – The Tidal Whispers and its characters remain the intellectual property of Lavenders Entertainment Inc.

7. Streaming, Videos, Speedruns and Mods

We encourage players to share their experiences with the Game.

You are free to:

  • stream the Game on platforms such as Twitch or YouTube

  • upload gameplay videos, reviews, or commentary

  • create speedrunning content

  • include the Game in tournaments or community events

  • monetize videos or streams featuring the Game

Mods and experimental projects are also welcome as long as they remain non-commercial and respect these guidelines.

Please make sure your content does not misrepresent the Game as an official product.

8. Updates

These guidelines may be updated over time if necessary.

-Final Note-

Use your common sense. Treat the world and characters of Flow  with the same spirit they represent.

“Work hard. Do not give up. And be kind to the people around you.”

If you create with that mindset, you are already respecting the heart of the world.
